'The Kraken' June Mar Fajardo on pace to win sixth BPC award

San Miguel Beermen’s June Mar Fajardo is on track to win a league-record sixth-straight Best Player of the Conference award.

The five-time PBA MVP leads the statistical race for the plum with his average of 41.4 SPs built on his stat line of 20.6 points, 13.1 rebounds, and 2.4 assists in the 2019 PBA Philippine Cup.

Fajardo is the only player among the top five contenders for the BPC award who is set to play in the All-Filipino cup finals.

Rounding out the top five are NorthPort's Sean Anthony, Stanley Pringle, and Mo Tautuaa, as well as TNT's RR Pogoy.

Anthony is second to Fajardo in the statistical race with his 37.1 SPs while his teammate Pringle comes in at the third spot with an average of 34.8 SPs. Pogoy sits at the fourth with 33.6 while Tautuaa is at the fifth with 33.1.

Meanwhile, Columbian’s CJ Perez leads the race for the Rookie of the Year award with his average of 28.7 SPs. NorthPort's Robert Bolick comes in at second with 22.8 SPs while Rain or Shine’s Javee Mocon sits at the third with 22.2.
