by Niel Victor Masoy, April 15, 2019 11:01pm

Germy Mahinay is on the move once more.

Out of the San Beda High School basketball program, Mahinay initally commited to joining the Lyceum of the Philippines University Pirates in the NCAA last season.

The 6-foot-5 big man though ultimately joined the Universtiy of Santo Tomas Growling Tigers and played in the UAAP Season 81 Seniors' Basketball Tournament last year.

Now, Mahinay is leaving UST to join the National University Bulldogs, Randolph Leongson of reported.

That development pretty much explains Mahinay's absences in the Growling Tigers' past games in the ongoing PBA D-League season where the España-based squad holds a 4-1 win-loss card as of posting time.

Mahinay last played for UST in its 94-70 demolition of the Batangas-EAC Generals last February 18 at the Paco Arena in Manila City.

The banger Mahinay put up 4.5 points and 5.7 rebounds for UST last season.

He will now serve his residency at NU and will start playing for the Jhocson-based squad in the UAAP Season 83.
