The world governing body for the sport of basketball, FIBA has already postponed a couple of games for the February window due to the threat of the nCoV outbreak.

Gilas' home game against Thailand on February 20 was one of the games that was postponed. Japan's game against China on February 21 and China's game against Malaysia on February 24 was likewise postponed.

"Due to the current #coronavirus outbreak, @FIBA Asia has taken the decision to postpone the following #FIBAAsiaCup 2021 Qualifier games: 20 Feb: PHI vs THA 21 Feb: JPN vs CHN 24 Feb: CHN vs MAS," the FIBA Asia Cup  wrote in a post in their official social media accounts.

Meanwhile, Gilas' road game against Indonesia will push through.

FIBA has yet to issue the new schedule for the postponed games.

The PBA also made its move to reschedule the opening of the PBA D-League and the PBA's 45th season due to the  same reason. The D-League was moved to March 2 instead of the initial February 13 schedule still in Paco Arena while PBA was rescheduled to March 8 still in the Araneta Coliseum.
