Meralco Bolts import Allen Durham was once again the Best Import in this conference's crop of reinforcements while Christian Standhardinger bagged his first ever Gatorade PBA Best Player of the Conference award in the 2019 Governor's Cup.

Durham bested Ginebra import Justin Brownlee to the plum after garnering a total of 1170 points. He accumulated  420 votes from the media, 100 from the players and 150 from the PBA to top the race for the third time.

Brownlee came in second with a total of 937 points by accumulationg 229 media votes, 129 from the players and 75 from the PBA. TNT import KJ McDaniels and Northport reinforcement Michael Qualls round out the top four with 635 and 528 points respectively.

Meanwhile, Batang Pier center topped the highest individual award for this conference after towing NorthPort to the Semi-finals of the Governors' Cup. Standhardinger was actually a vital cog for NorthPort since getting traded there by San Miguel Beermen for Mo Tautuaa.

He then helped the Batang Pier survive eliminations and make it to the playoffs as the eight seeded team. He then conspired with Qualls and Sean Anthony to help Northport slay top-seed Nlex Road Warriors.

Standhardinger was only third in the statistical race but garnered 433 media votes, 32 from the players and 150 from the PBA to top with 1011 points total. Former SMB teammates June MAr Fajardo came as runner-up with a 657 points total while Jayson Castro garnered 615 points.

The PBA awarded the plums before the start of the Game 4 of the Semis series between the Meralco Bolts and Ginebra San Miguel.
