Kai Sotto bared he has committed to play for The Skill Factory (TSF) - an Atlanta-based basketball development program.

The 7-foot-2 wunderkind announced his decision through a video posted on his YouTube channel on Saturday (November 9) afternoon.

“What’s up guys, this is Kai Sotto and I just want to announce that this upcoming season, I will be joining The Skill Factory international team,” said Sotto.

According to its website, TSF “is a sports skill and development organization that specializes in high-quality custom sports coaching and skill training programs."

With the TSF, the 17-year-old Sotto is set to compete in US (United States of America) basketball club tournaments like the Georgia Elite 8 and the NBA (National Basketball Associaton) Academy Games.

Through the TSF, Sotto will also participate in international tournaments like the GLOBALJAM Gran Canaria in Spain.

Sotto - the 2019 University Athletic Association (UAAP) Juniors basketball tournament Most Valuable Player (MVP) - left the Philippines for Atlanta last April to further hone his skills.

He then joined the Philippine national youth squad - the Gilas Youth - which played in the FIBA Under-19 World Cup last June in Greece.

There, Sotto put up 11.7 points, 7.9 rebounds, 3.1 blocks, and 2.0 assists.
