Jackson Corpuz clueless why he was called for an F1, insists hit on Wells just a bump

Columbian Dyip forward Jackson Corpuz was clueless why the officials called a Flagrant Foul Penalty 1 on him in their 107-113 loss at the hands of the Grandslam seeking San Miguel Beermen on Sunday.
Corpuz bumped San Miguel Beer import Dez Wells sending the latter to the Big Dome floor at the 3:09 mark of the fourth quarter. The bump didn't go well for the San Miguel import who retaliated and wanted a piece of Corpuz before he was pacified by his teammates.
Corpuz was then assessed of an F1 infraction which sent him to the bench for three minutes while also giving the Beermen the chance to extend the lead. Wells made two free throws before Alex Cabagnot scored on a layup on the next possession which stretched the lead to seven, 102-95.
"Wala nashort lang naman nandun na naman kami, sa huli lang natalo sayang," Corpuz said about the game.
"Sayang rin kanina yung flagrant ko di ko alam eh kung bakit tinwagan ako flagrant kanina. Para sa kin kasi wala eh, di lang siguro siya ready kaya bumagsak siya, pero para sakin wala, bump lang talaga," explained Corpuz who also put up solid contributions of 12 points and 11 boards while also limiting Wells to just 13 points in the first half.
Corpuz though felt the F1 call should only be a regular foul as according to him, he did not extended his elbows during that play. He, however admitted that they've been playing physical against the talented Beermen although he assured it was within the bounds of basketball and they were not doing anything dirty on the floor.
"Siguro kasi nung umpisa more on physical lang naman, syempre basketball physical lang naman tayo kung makikita sa sa tinawag sakin na flagrant parang hindi tama eh. Parang di naman nila ako nakita tumawag ng second motion or nag extend ng kamay para tawagan ako ng ganun," he explained.
