Rain or Shine has been in a free fall in the ongoing PBA Governor's Cup prompting the Elastopainters management to tap the services of Kwame Alexander in lieu of Kayel Locke.
The E-painters are currently in a four-game losing slide, three of those were with Locke who actually came in for ROS' first import Joel Wright. Despite the skid, Caloy Garcia believed the E-Painters still have the chance to make it to the playoffs but they have to start to turn things around right noe especially that they are at the 11th spot of the standings with a 1-5 win-loss card.
"At the end of the day, di pa naman kami out talaga eh. We're probably now at the last place but we're only two games behind. We still have a chance," said Garcia.
Alexander, who started practicing with ROS last Friday, could be the guy for the E-Painters though as he provide the inside prescence to help E-Painters try and survive their next five games, to have a clear shots to the playoffs.
The 29-year old reinforcement is coming off a stint in Venezuela league posting averages of11.9 points and 7.3 rebounds. He was also not new to the Philippine brand of play as he already played in the PBA way back in 2015 as an NLEX import.
Alexander will be making his Rain or Shine debut on Wednesday against he Blackwater Elite.
