by Jim Lemuel Wilson, October 04, 2019 12:59pm

The Bacoor City Strikers put their three-game winning run on the line as they host the Biñan City, Laguna Krah Heroes while the Caloocan Supremos and the Bicol Volcanoes collide tonight in the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League Lakan Cup at the STRIKE Gymnasium.

The Strikers currently hold 13-3 win-loss record and are riding a three-game winning run, the last one coming at the expense of the Nueva Ecija ForestLake on September 24. In that game, Nick Demusis tallied 15 points while Gab Banal and Michael Mabulac added 13 points apiece.

The Heroes (6-10), meanwhile, are coming off a 90-102 defeat on October 1 at the hands of the Muntinlupa Cagers. Ryusei Koga had 20 points for the Heroes that night while Edzel Mag-isa and John Ortuoste had 20 markers each. Biboy Enguio also had 12 points.

The Bacoor-Biñan game is set at 8:30 pm, following the 6:30 game between the Caloocan Supremos (9-7) and the Bicol Volcanoes (8-9). The SOCCSKSARGEN Marlins (0-14) continue to search for their first win as they face the Cebu Sharks (5-9).
