The NLEX Road Warriors and the San Miguel Beermen hope to remain spotless when they take on their respective foes, the Blackwater Elite and the Alaska Aces, on Sunday in the Philippine Basketball Association 2019 Governors' Cup at the Sta. Rosa Sports Complex.

The Road Warriors are looking to stay perfect in its first three assignments before flying to Dubai where they will be playing SMB and Ginebra San Miguel. NLEX will be banking once again on Kiefer Ravena, who has been doing wonders for NLEX since his return. Import Olu Ashaolu will once again provide the muscle inside while JR Quiñahan looks to follow up his splendid performance in NLEX's 105-99 victory over the Meralco Bolts.

Should NLEX win, it will be their best start in recent years. However, out to stop them are the Elite, who are looking for their breakthrough win. Blackwater super rookie Ray Parks will be leading the charge for the Elite while import Marqus Blakely hopes to bounce back from a dismal performance in their last game.

In the second game, SMB hopes to sustain their fiery start to their Grandslam chase when they take on the the still struggling Aces. Dez Wells is out to showcase his offensive prowess once again as he teams up with the already formidable line-up of the Beermen.

The Aces, on the other hands, hopes to finally break the ice after two tough losses. Head coach Jeff Cariaso is looking to finally barge into the win column with Chris Banchero, Vic Manuel, and import Justin Watts leading the charge.
