Phoenix Pulse acquires free agents Potts, Garcia

Phoenix Pulse beefed up its backcourt by signing up players from the free agent pool in RR Garcia and Davon Potts.
The Fuel Masters announced the development through their social media pages on Monday evening.
No further details of Garcia's and Potts' deals has been divulged.
Garcia - a former University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Most Valuable Player (MVP) - was put by his former team TNT KaTropa in their inactive list of players for the last nine months.
The 5-foot-11 guard's contract with TNT expired last August 30.
Garcia tried out for the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters two weeks ago. But as it appeared, it's the Fuel Masters who took a chance on the former Far Eastern University (FEU) standout.
Meanwhile, Potts - the 18th overall pick of the 2017 Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Rookie Draft - hardly saw minutes in his two-year stint with the Alaska Aces.
Like Garcia, the 6-foot-1 guard's contract with Alaska also expired last August 30.
The Filipino-American Potts then played for the Basilan and Zamboanga teams in the Chooks-to-Go 3x3 Magiting Cup. He also tried out for a spot in the Phoenix roster about a couple of weeks ago and as it showed, the Fuel Masters liked what they saw from the former San Beda University (SBU) Red Lion.
Garcia, 29, and Potts, 26, join Phoenix's backcourt of RJ Jazul, Alex Mallari, and LA Revilla among others.
The Fuel Masters open their 2019 PBA Governors’ Cup campaign on Saturday against the NLEX Road Warriors at the Araneta Coliseum.
