Fajardo credits teammates for return to dominant form

San Miguel Beer big man and five-time MVP June MAr Fajardo was in his usual dominant form in Game Four of their Finals series against the TNT Katropa and the gentle giant is crediting it to his teammates.
The Cebuano giant was in usual self dominating the paint for the Beermen after getting outplayed by his TNT counterparts in the first three games. Fajardo threw his weight around particularly in the third frame where carried the Beermen on his shoulders via a personal 10-0 run to create separation for SMB.
"Hinahanap ako ng mga teammates ako kahit sobrang nagmimintis ako pero hinahanap pa rin nila ako binibigyan nila ako ng kumpiyan so kailangan ko suklian yung tiwala nila," said Fajardo who finished with 22 points and seven boards.
Fajardo also nailed a crucial shot inside with 31 seconds left to keep the Beermen afloat and stave off a surging rally from the Katropa. For SMB's part, feeding Fajardo downlow was intentional especially with the 6'10 center sealing against opponent's big men. Import Chris McCullough found Fajardo open at the post after TNT import tried to double him.
"Laging sanasabi sa akin ng mga coaches ko ng mga teammates ko na seal lang lagi para di man ako makatanggap ng bola at least naseal ko yung import di siya makakahelp so may clear lanes yung may hawak ng bola so may easy layups sila," explained Fajardo.
Fajardo also credited his teammates for finding him everytime he puts himself in a good position to score inside.
"Credit sa mga teammates ko maganda nilaro namin credit sa coaching staff namin maganda yung game plan namin, nasunod namin sana next time masunod uli namin yung game plan namin."
Fajardo and the Beermen are looking to ride their momentum as they try to finally get the series lead on Game Five on Wednesday at the Araneta Coliseum
