Runner-up June Mar Fajardo thinks Jayson Casto deserves Best Player of the Conference Award

San Miguel behemoth June Mar Fajardo believed that TNT guard Jayson Castro was a deserving choice to win the Best Player of the Conference honors.
Fajardo came in second in the total tally garnering 762 accumulated points from the statistical points, Media votes, players votes and the PBA against Castro's 1077 points.
"Deserve si Jayson nun, kasi ang ganda ng nilaro niya through out the conference deserve sya na makakuha nun so Congrats kay Jayson tsaka sa import sa best import," said Fajardo.
Castro and best import winner Terrence Jones were awarded before the Game Four of the Commissioner's Cup Finals. However, the Katropa lost the game after a 106-101 decision favoring the Beermen.
Incidentally, Fajardo was instrumental for the Beermen especially during a 12-0 run in the third quarter. SMB went exclusively to Fajardo as he gave the Beermen the much needed separation which they protected and never relinquished up until the final buzzer.
"Di madali para sa amin yung series na ito. Finals eh, di namin ineexpect na madaling game so every game talaga kailangan mo talagang kunin sa kanila yun. Kung sino yung gustong manalo siya yung mananalo pareho kami pagod, pagod kami, pagod sila nagpipray kami na manalo and ofcourse sila din nag pipray na manalo so kung sino sa yung gusto manalo yun yung pwedeng manalo," said Fajardo after finishing with 22 points, and seven boards.
The Beermen were able to avoid falling into a 1-3 hole but most importantly, they were able to tie the series once again.
"Mabuti ngayon nakuha namin ang panalong to mahirap kasi mabaon sa 1-3 so buti natabla namin yung series," said the gentle giant."
