Kevin Durant puts no blame on Warriors for his injury

Brooklyn Nets forward Kevin Durant is not putting the blame on his former team Golden State Warriors even though he suffered a ruptured right Achilles tendon in Game 5 of the National Basketball Association Finals against the Toronto Raptors.
Durant made the statement when he appeared in an exclusive interview with Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports.
Asked if the Warriors mishandled his injury, Durant replied: “Hell, no.”
“How can you blame [the Warriors]? Hell, no,” Durant said.
The former NBA Most Valuable Player said that not one person from the Warriors organization put pressure on him to return during the Finals in June.
“I heard the Warriors pressured me into getting back. Nobody never said a word to me during rehab as I was coming back. It was only me and [director of sports medicine and performance] Rick [Celebrini] working out every day. Right when the series started, I targeted Game 5. Hell, nah. It just happened. It’s basketball,” Durant shared.
Durant also shared that he is still at top level mentally, but he is not there yet physically.
"My mind is still there, now my body just has to catch up. Once that does, I'll be fine," Durant said.
