Long-time Miami Heat forward Udonis Haslem will be back for his 17th season with the franchise in the next National Basketball Association (NBA) season, the big man announced on his Twitter account on Wednesday (Philippine time).

A native of Miami, Haslem has been part of the Heat’s history all his career.

“To be continued Heat Nation!!! 1️⃣7️⃣‼️ #og #heatlifer,” Haslem wrote.

Haslem went undrafted in the 2002 NBA draft before joining the Heat in 2003, the same year Dwyane Wade joined the organization. He was part of the 2004 All-Rookie Second Team. In 2006, Haslem and Wade, along with Shaquille O’Neal, won the team’s first NBA championship in franchise history.

Haslem was also part of the Miami squad that won the 2012 and 2013, the two coming with LeBron James.
