The Bulacan Kuyas will be up against a tough assignment to deal with infront of their home crowd as they face-off with the Manila Stars in the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) Lakan Cup at Bulacan Capitol Gymnasium today.

Bulacan currently holds a 3-3 win loss record after a heart-breaking defeat against the Zamboanga Family's Brand Sardines, 59-60, caused by Allan Santos' game winning hook shot.

On the other hand, the Manila Stars are coming off a fresh beating of the Pampanga Giant Lanterns, 92-76 and is on a three game winning streak to place them on a 5-1 win-loss record.

The Bulacan duo Dan Sara and Jay-R Taganas are tasked to limit Chris Bitoon and Aris Dionisio, who have both been playing outstanding for Manila.

On the other hand, the Bacoor City Strikers led by Michael Mabulac will be vying for their sixth straight win, 5-1, against the winless SOCCSKSARGEN, 0-3, in their match set at 4pm.

The Basilan Steel (3-3) and the Valenzuela SPV TOP Marketplace (4-3) are eager to bounce back as they will clash in the second game of MPBL Wednesday.
