Timely boost for Alaska as Vic Manuel finally regaining groove

The Alaska Aces had a timely boost in their playoff campaign as forward Vic Manuel finally regaining groove after being sidelined for a couple of months due to injuries.
Manuel had his best in his last two games for Alaska pouring in 23 points in the playoff for the number eight spot against the Meralco Bolts before following it up with up a 13 point performance to help the Aces take down the number one seed TNT Katropa and force a winner take all.
Nakakatulong naman kahit papa'no," he further explained.
'The Muscleman' was also impressive on the defensive end as he took his share on guarding TNT's scoring machine in import Terrence Jones who Alaska limited to just 19 points and forced to seven turnovers although he admitted that it was hard to contain a talent like Jones.
" Sobrang galing rin kasi scorer eh, so kailangan namin para ma-stop sya, kailangan namin mag sag down sa kanya," Manuel explained.
The Aces were able to force a sudden-death game in a dominating fashion but Manuel didn't want to be complacent as he expects the Katropa to bounce back hard on Tuesday.
TNT and Alaska will have their do-or-die game Thursday at the Araneta Coliseum.
