Cloud of uncertainty surrounds Romeo as injury bug bites anew

Cloud of uncertainty surrounds San Miguel Beer guard Terrence Romeo as he is questionable for the Beermen's next game after injury bug bites him anew, this time dislocating his pinkie finger during a lose ball play in the third period of their last game.
"Terrence dislocated yung pinkie, nya but he was able to put it back. I think he will be okay, I hope na hindi mamaga yun," said Leo Austria during his short presser after the Beermen's 128-108 triumph over the Phoenix Pulse Fuel Masters on Wednesday.
Romeo still couldn't catch a break in the 2019 Commissioner's Cup l after missing SMB's first seven games owing to an achilles injury he aggravated during the Philippine Cup Finals against the Magnolia Hotshots.
"I think left pinkie eh, but I'm happy to see him again dahil alam natin kung ano yung value niya sa team namin. Medyo lumalim yung rotation namin sa guard position," added Austria, who admitted Romeo's return was vital to the team's rise.
Romeo scored 13 points on 3-of-4 shooting from downtown to go along with his four assists off the bench for the Beermen.
However, Austria was unsure whether his flamboyant guard will be able to retun in time for their Cagayan de Oro showdown against fellow playoff spot-seeking Rain or Shine Elasto Painters. The Beermen will need to win their final assignments in order to secure a spot in the Top 4 to 6 places and play a best-of-three Quarterfinals.
"If he will be healthy, I think we could achieve our goal at least, dun sa number six or number five."
