June Mar Fajardo is hoping that his San Miguel Beermen can sustain their fiery form heading into the homestretch of their eliminations campaign as they vie for a playoff spot.

The Beermen regained their old form scoring back-to-back wins after struggling early in the conference losing five of their seven games including two 30+ point drubbing. They are now sitting at the seventh spot and can still move up the ladder with still two games to play for them.

"So far maganda yung tinatakbo ng team namin, sana magtuloy-tuloy na kasi kailangan namin maipanalao yung remaining games namin kasi para maganda yung pwesto namin sa playoffs," said Fajardo.

The 6'10" behemoth also commended their new import Chris McCullough for providing the much needed scoring and energy fuel SMB's resurgence.

"Malaking bagay, maganda yung nilalaro niya sana mag tuloy-tuloy. Siguro kasi nasa labas yung laro niya eh tas mahaba siya kaya nagkicreate sya ng mismatch," said the five-time MVP.

McCullough's outside game provided wonders for the Beermen as that gave room for Fajardo to operate inside. The two form SMB's one-two punch in their win over the 128-108 triumph over the Phoenix Pulse Fuel Masters. Fajardo poure in 22 points while McCullough exploded anew with 37 markers. The Beermen will be playing the Meralco Bolts in Cagayan de Oro before facing the Rain or Shine Elastopainters in their penultimate assignment.
