Kelly Oubre Jr. stays with Phoenix, agrees to sign two-year, $30 million deal with Suns

Restricted free agent Kelly Oubre Jr. is staying in Phoenix.

This, after the 6-foot-7 winger agreed to sign a two-year, $30 million contract with the Suns, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Phoenix acquired Oubre in a trade with the Washington Wizards on December 17, 2018.

The 15th overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft averaged 12.9 points on 43.3 percent shooting from the field, 4.4 rebounds, and 0.7 assists, and 26.0 minutes in 29 games with the Wizards.

His numbers increased with the Suns as he put up career-highs of 18.9 markers on 45.3 percent shooting, plus 4.9 boards, 1.6 assists, 1.4 steals, and 1.0 blocks for good measure in 29.5 minutes in 40 games.

All in all, Oubre, 23, averaged 15.2 points on 45.3 percent shooting, on top of 4.7 rebounds and 1.2 assists last season.
