Haters drive James Harden to keep on what he’s doing

While there are a lot of people who marvel at James Harden’s prolific scoring and playmaking ability, there are those who just don't like the 2018 MVP or basically hate Harden and what he does on and off the court.

Some NBA fans have a dislike on Harden for his basketball moves especially his patented step back move that they deemed as travelling, while some don’t like the superstar’s outfit before and after the games.

Harden call those people as haters, and said that when you have such people in your life ‘that's when you know you're doing something right.’

“And then you have the haters who talk about, 'Is that a travel?' 'Is that too many steps?' or 'Why is he wearing this?' 'He doesn't look right.' That’s the haters,” the seven-time All-Star remarked.

But those people don’t deter Harden. Instead, they fuel the 6-foot-5 guard to keep on doing what he’s doing.

"It just drives me to keep doing what I'm doing, keep creating moves, keep wearing whatever what I'm wearing. I let the haters keep talking."

Harden had a two-day (Tuesday and Wednesday) visit in the country to promote his latest adidas signature shoe - the Harden Vol. 3. He also interacted with his fans and faced the media for a press conference on Wednesday at the SMX Convention Center.

“It’s great being back in the Philippines and I’m thankful to adidas and my fans for the warm welcome. I’m already looking forward to my next trip back here,” Harden said.
