Courtside Philippines brand launching event turns into ballers reunion

Courtside Philippines’ official launch turned into a basketball stars reunion as players from different leagues—along with their wives, girlfriends, children, and families—graced the event held on Wednesday at the Atmos Cineplex of Gateway Mall in Cubao, Quezon City.
Staged to introduce Courtside Philippines as a major player in the sports news writing and reporting industry, the event attracted current and former Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) players like Ryan Araña, Renz Palma, Bradwyn Guinto, Davon Potts, Gab Banal, Abel Galliguez, Jonathan Grey, Maverick Ahanmisi, Marvin Hayes, and Jerwin Gaco.
Also present in the event were Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) Datu Cup champions John Wilson, Mike Ayonayon, and Orlan Wamar.
Other MPBL standouts present in the event were Hesed Gabo, JR Raflores, Ryan Arambulo, Gab Dagangon, Jay Collado, Leo De Vera, Achie Iñigo, Jay-R Taganas, and so many others.
Bright Akhuetie, Will Gozum, Lucas Cullar, JP Cauilan, Mark Maloles, Darius Estrella, Jerson Prado, Keith Zaldivar, Joshua Flores, Jawuan White, Anton Sistoza, Robert Minerva, Axel Iñigo, and Adamson’s Magbuhos brothers were among the most notable college players present in the event.
Even Mapua Red Robins star Clint Escamis was spotted in the venue while coaches Chris Gavina, Mark Isip, Mario Bonleon, and Eddie Laure were also in attendance.
Team officials Roman Ang and Sheila Maligaya also made it to the event while courtside reporters Rizza Diaz, Miguel Dypiangco, and Gianna Llanes were also among the guests.
Asked how the whole event turned out, Courtside Philippines’ AC Ong said, “We are so blessed tonight seeing not only people from the basketball community but their families as well to support us.”
“As we embark into a focused basketball content, we promise to deliver the most enthralling basketball stories in the country while providing you an intense courtside experience,” he added.
The event was held with a block screening of Disney’s Aladdin and was made possible in partnership with Jansport, Flawless, J.CO Donuts and Coffee, Chichetti, and Bioessence.
