Larry Muyang is fresh from winning the Datu Cup championship with the San Juan Knights in the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League. Banged up and all from the tournament, the 6’ 5” center is competing in the FilOil preseason tourney with all that he has.
In an interview with Courtside Philippines on Monday, Muyang revealed that he is currently nursing a left knee injury while playing for the Colegio de San Juan de Letran Knights in the 2019 staging of the FilOil Flying V Preseason Premier Cup.
“Di ako 100% dahil may iniinda ako sa tuhod. Hindi ko alam kung napaano, parang jumper’s knee daw ata,” the big man said.
That, however, is not stopping him from going all out in the tournament and competing against Mike Nzeusseu and all the other big men in the tournament.
“Sa akin kasi, kahit anung liga siya, kasi passion na talaga yung basketball. Kaya kahit anung liga, kailangan ko talagang laruin,” he said.
“Kahit ano, walang pinipili,” Muyang added.
